Welcome to this new site dedicated to the amateur photographer. I am developing this site in order
to provide a place for amateur digital photographers to exhibit some of their work and to provide useful
information to anyone that is interested in photography. As the site develops I will continue to
add more exciting features, but I want to hear from all of you budding photographers what you would
like to see on a site like this. Email me at

Features of the site
- A guide to using digital SLR type cameras, but the content will not be exclusive to digital SLR cameras.
- Further to this there will be guides on numerous photographical techniques, a glossary of terms and the whole
site will offer something from the very beginner to through to the enthusiast.
- An SQL driven members database which will allow members to submit photos for online publication, provided
they meet the criteria on an images policy agreement that is being draw up for the online content. Photos
will be displayed in galleries for each member and also the best images in numerous categories will also
be displayed in specific galleries.
- A regularly updated section covering the basics, and more advanced features of photoshop, and tips on how
to achieve some great effects in a few simple clicks.
- A forum for discussion of the site, and a place to suggest ideas, although contacting me via email will be
more reliable. The forum can also be used to share photographic tips with other amateur photographers
- I will do interviews with some excellent amateur photographers to give you ideas on what inspires them and
what lessons they have learned.
- Therefore you are getting free membership to a unique site that brings together the benefits of photography
magazines, and image hosting sites all in one location.
